The trip to the High school was very fun because I got see alot of things around the school. The first thing that I got to see was the classrooms, one of the classrooms was wood shop. In woodshop there was a lot of things happening, there was people using the band saw people drilling. The next class room that we saw was auto all the kids were in the classroom part of auto and they were learning how to make a strong bridge. The next part of the high school was the cafateria there were lots of food in it they had muffins cookies hamburgers and alot of other stuff too. Every two grade sevens got one tour giude my grade seven partener was Jack and my tour guide was Max. We also got to see other class rooms in session like the socials class, Jack and I got to sit in the classroom while the teacher tought the class. The class was learning about the black death and how it is bad for there race. Other people got to sit in on diffrent class like woodshop, science and other things. The student councils name was Mrs. Walten she helps plan the kids scheldules and other thing like if they need help with school work and stuff like that. Whe that was over we went back to our school and worked on our school work

The past few weeks at school have been very fun, one of the things that we did was the BC lions came our school and we talked about earth day we played a bunch of games one of the games that we played was a game were a person got dressed with a bunch of cloths then ran over to the other person and trough off the clothes and then the other person had to put the clothes on and run to a hamper and throw the clots in to the hamper. And guess what I was in it, also the past few weeks we get to build a diagram in library Calean, Nick and I are building the diagram of kingdom of Hades, the base of the diagram is 3 feet by 3 feet and that size turned out to be small. Also at school we started a new unit in math which is algebra it is really easy all you have to do is the opposite so I the ask u to minus you add and if they ask you to divide you multiply. In gym class we been doing this unit called dance this instructor came in and taught us all these moves which then we took and preformed in front of the whole school, I was so nervous but I held in and pulled of a great performance. Now we are still doing dance but without the instructor my group is Owen, Cleone, Shaina, Tate and me.

                         In this week of march we did alot of things. We didnt have Ms. Wilson for all week because she has an ear infection. The fist four days we had Ms. Simpson and for the last day we had the best sub ever Mrs. Meldrum and she was wearing a canadian flage rain garbage bag. In gym we started a new subject and its gymnasticts, I can do a handstand, a cartwheel and a three sixty on the spring board. Also this week we started this name thing in art you have to draw 25 2 inch squares with a hlaf an inch boarder around the paperin using the name spenny because that is my nick name and it is shorter than my real name. I also had a friend over every day because I had no homework so this week was really fun .The friends that I had over was Henry Z. and Nick over a bunch of times. Nick is getting a new BB gun he is getting the P90 replica and i am also getting one I am  getting a sniper rifile which comes with a scope and bipod.  Also this week on friday it is the opening cerimonys fro the paralympics so we all got to bring olymopic mascots and were red I brought Muk Muk.

This week we had mascot day with are buddies. We all brought in a olympic mascot plush toy. I brought in a Muk Muk, My buddy broght in Miga. We spent the whole moning playing games on the olympic mascot website we played curling Muk Muk and Soaring Sumi. The rest of the week was fun to In science we are starting to do experements and this week we tested if cokes with sugar in them would sink and cokes without sugar would float, and we were right, The cokes with sugar sank. In L.A. we were adding on to Ms. Wilson’s web site I am adding on a curling page  with Jake, Sam And me.

Over Christmas break I did lots of stuff. I went snowboarding alot, the mountain that I always go to is Grouse I don’t like going to Cypress because most of the mountain is blocked off because of the Olympics. One of the other things that I did over the break is hang out with my friend Kobe. We went to stick and puck at the rec center and saw our other friends. When I got back to school I got alot of marks back and I didn’t do to well so this term im going to try really hard to get those lost marks back. The first week back we got to go curling at the North Shore winter club I learned how to slide and push the rock into the rings at the other end but the bad thing is we only got to stay and curl for one hour. I hope to have more fun this term

Today at the start of the day we went to our buddies’ class and helped them make crackers are Christmas crackers. The Christmas crackers are going to many places the places are our sister school Grandview, the covenant house, Queen Mary School and the Harvest project. My buddy is Cobi we made a total of 12 Christmas crackers, Nicks and Nick’s buddy was helping us stuff the Christmas crackers, And we made a really big cracker the size of one whole wrapping paper roll but the teacher said we had to take it a part and make smaller ones so the kids would all get the same sized ones.

This week at school was very fun the basketball jamboree was on. Neither, the boy or girls won the girl total was 3 and 1 the boys total was 4 and 1. Also this week we got to find out the total of the silent day money, the total was 3015 dollars, we can buy to water pumps that was our goal so now we can start to raise money for medical supplies. Also this week the boys started to make news papers and they are due next Wednesday, which is a lot of work.

Today was silent day. I haven’t spoke at all today exeped when i forgot and I said “were do I hand this  in.” The ehole class wrote a letter to Obama the presedent of the United States the letter siad that he should sign the decloration of children rights. Also in gym it was really hard not to speak because we were playing skittles and everyone wanted to yell. In math we are making math movies ( explaining how you do thing) and you usually talk in them but today we couldnt because its silent day, so we had to make silent math movies.  At recess my friend and I were playing football and it was really hard not to yell or say for someone to go some were or somthing, but I managed to do it. At lunch recess i played basket ball with Owen and his friends and Owen talked alot but its ok.

The things I learned at the aquarium are that the gum “Chicklets” come from rain forests from some sort of tree. I also learned that a fish there has no teeth it has a tongue that feels like sand paper the fish uses it to grind the food down instead of chewing it . I also learned that the rain forests in South America are going to be gone in thirty years if people keep cutting them done and growing cattle and other things also every 7 minuets a group of trees the size of Stanly Park get cut down.

This week I did a lot . The first thing I did this week was get lots of homework from both teachers, the homework was a socials project on hominid and lots of math home work. And also I got to hand in my Reading/book report on the book Among the Hidden. Also in art we made 3D castles and that’s due on Monday . Also on Monday we are going to the aquarium in Stanlypark, we are taking the bus there so we don’t  pollute any more. This week went by really fast i hope all the other weeks go that fast. The second I notice its monday then i blink and its friday. YEH THE WEEKEND!
